Yorkshire's fossil dinosaur footprint

We were really lucky to see this footprint cast! Revealed in the news yesterday as 'Yorkshire's largest dinosaur footprint' and possibly the print of a meat eating dinosaur that was probably between 8 and 9 metres long, it was great to see it insitu. Work is currently ongoing as to how to preserve/remove it safely to the Rotunda museum in Scarborough.

Close up of a claw.

The print with a pound coin for scale.
