The forecast wasn't great so, for the first time in quite a few months, a walk around Buttermere. It's so far behind still compared to previous years. Highlights were a redstart, no sign of pied flycatchers today, and the herdie lambs. It was a tad breezy with wafts of drizzle coming down the lake. Spetacular none the less!
