Finally, a trip to Scotland! Good to cross the border and a great day out. The Mc Gill Duncan gallery click here has a superb exhibition featuring Lisa Hooper, John Threlfall and Sue Dunne. There were also a couple of paintings by Hazel Campbell, which were good to see as they are in the style of work that I am working towards in my abstraction work. After the exhibition and inevitably a purchase, I hit the art shop - lots of lovely materials! With it being a nice day we decided to head home, rather than have our usual visit to the kite feeding station, as the tomatoes really needed to go into the greenhouse and the cabbages needed planting! We did enjoy a lunch inside the Scottish Pantry - something we are unable to do in England yet given the restrictions!
