The first twayblades...

A very busy week at work and developing my arts business .....so tonight it was just another walk out around the block. I say 'just' - it's a priviledge! I expected the highlight to be either the banks of primroses or the cowslips- both of which are fantastic at the moment, but it was spotting the new twayblade leaves that actually fulfilled this honour! Time to try to slow down (again) and enjoy......

Twayblade leaves.

Water avens (or water ravens as I called it as a child! ) and wild garlic.

Violets - spoiled by the dandelion.

Red campion.

The very first hawthorn blossom.

Our primrose bank....

...and cowslips....
