Foulshaw Moss - white-faced darter

A quick walk aaround this reserve on our way home. Good views of the male osprey, but I was more excited to see  the white-faced darters...thanks to the warden who confimed that the reed I had photgraphed was indeed the one where they had been sitting and that my very long distance shots were of the white-faced dater!

Towards Whitbarrow.

Across the moss...

White-faced darter.....and below....

Four-spot chaser.
