Wedholme Flow

There is just so much to do and see in June, especially when May was so wet and rubbish that everything is happening in quick succession! So a quick nip out to Wedholme to have a poke around. Nothing spectacular, but the sounds of  the reserve: curlew, lapwing and cuckoo were fabulous.

Across Wedholme to Skiddaw.

Cottongrass.

Four spot chaser.

Meadow brown.

Common spotted orchid.

One of the blue damsel flies.

Dark red damsels.

Large skipper.
