From Tom: As well as the man orchids, there were also plenty of other orchid species in flower, including white helleborine, bee orchid, chalk fragrant orchid and pyramidal orchid. I was about a week early for musk orchid, but I hope to return in a week or two to find this diminutive species.
The site is a fantastic chalk hillside with some fantastic orchids as well as a non-orchid highlight of clustered bellflower.
