In the midst of all the excitement of our trip to South Cumbria, I nearly forgot to blog our trip to Maryport ...and then there are Tom's blogs about his weekend too! There're really aren't enough days in May - especially when, due to the weather, they are all squished into a week!
Anyway - a quick trip out to Maryport SSSI to see how the flowers are coming on - the norther marsh orchids are just coming into flower and we found one bee orchid spike. Lovley to see a common blue - and some hope that this week summer may arrive!
